Randolph
Johnson Associates, LLC (RJA) is a human resources and employee benefit consulting
firm. Special focus has been on developing the human resource function for
growing organizations. Recent engagements include instituting employee
performance review programs, redesigning and marketing of healthcare plans to
control costs, developing of new group insurance retirement plans, directing the
hiring of new employees, and drafting of employee manuals.
Prior to founding RJA, Randy Johnson, Managing
Director of RJA, spent over
twenty-two years at Aon Consulting and its predecessor organization, the
Alexander & Alexander Consulting Group. While at Aon Consulting, Randy was a
Senior Benefit Consultant, and then Vice President, Regional Marketing and Sales
Director for Aon Consulting’s Northeast Region.
While at Aon Consulting and presently at RJA,
Randy worked with many different sized organizations from ExxonMobil Films
Division, Ciba-Geigy, McKinsey & Company, Insignia Financial Group, and the
Barnes Group to midsize companies such as First Niagara Financial Group, and
Kurt Salmon Associates, to smaller organization such as DM Cross,
ImmediateFX, The Business Council of Fairfield County, Reach Financial and
Norman D. Lifton. This larger company experience has helped Randy address the
increasingly complex nature of human resource and employee benefit challenges
for growing organizations.
Randy is or has been actively involved with the

Randy is a graduate of Lehigh University, with
a Major in Economic Statistics, and a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS),
awarded through the Wharton School of Business. He recently completed the
Advanced Investment Management Program for retirement plan sponsors at Wharton.
Randy is an instructor in Defined Contribution Pension Plans, Welfare Benefit
Plans, and Health Care Economics through the University of Connecticut at
Stamford, and an instructor in the Human Resources Management Certificate
Program at Fairfield University.
In 1993 Randy received CIBA-GEIGY’s Quality
Award for outstanding service. This was the first such award to an outside
vendor under Ciba’s continuous quality improvement program.
