  • Control healthcare costs through plan redesign, funding reviews, and plan marketings
     
  • Review the impact of new benefit developments such as Health Savings Accounts and Consumer Driven Healthcare
       
  • Apply the impact of the Medicare Modernization Act Part D to reduce retiree medical costs
      
  • Assist in plan administration and claim issues
      
  • Assist in ERISA, Family Medical Leave Act, HIPAA, and COBRA compliance.
      
  • Design retirement plans and assist in selecting investment managers and plan administrators
      
  • Draft employee manuals drawing on the resources of a national law firm
      
  • Assist in complying with the revised Fair Labor Standards Act regulations drawing on the resources of a national law firm
      
  • Act as a coordinator and resource for other human resource issues including compensation, employee appraisals and job descriptions, payroll, human resource recordkeeping and other human resource issues

RJA fees may be paid directly to be offset by any commissions received by being named the broker of record for the group insurance plan. Fees for projects by outside attorneys, actuaries, or other risk and HR practitioners will be based on the scope of the engagement.
